This policy describes how Gatewazer uses cookies and similar technologies on gatewazer.net, how you can control non-essential processing, and how choices are stored in your browser.

Strictly necessary

We use a small consent record in your browser (localStorage) to remember whether you accepted or rejected analytics. That preference is needed for the banner to respect your choice. Session and security mechanics required for our forms operate on our servers and are not used for cross-site profiling.

Performance (cookieless)

We use Vercel Web Analytics without cookies. It aggregates page views and vitals without building a cross-site advertising profile.

Optional Google Analytics

If you enable “Analytics” in the banner or click “Accept all”, we load Google Analytics 4 via Google’s scripts. Until you consent, GA4 does not load. You can reopen your choice anytime by clearing site data or using the preference controls shown in the banner when it appears (if you cleared stored consent).

Your choices

Use “Reject non-essential”, toggle Analytics off then “Save preferences”, or “Accept all”. The banner appears again if no choice is stored. To verify GA stayed off before consent, open Developer Tools → Network and filter for google-analytics.com or googletagmanager.com — requests should appear only after you opt in.
